Adult Foundation Kung Fu Program

Our Adult Foundation Kung Fu program is structured around three main stages of training:

  1. Foundation Movements and Human Kinetics

    What is efficient for one person may not be equally efficient for everyone since genetics and lifestyle will determine variations in all our body type and natural abilities. Using traditional exercises, you will be taught the basic principles of body conditioning, maximizing full range of motion and the basics of how the body generates power for all activities.

  2. Basic Martial Arts Skills

    In this stage of our program, we break down each of the essential skill sets found in all martial arts and explain them through physics so that you understand how to maximize the efficiency in your technique. At the same time, you’ll begin learning the all the differences between the various Chinese martial arts styles and their niche specialty.

  3. Specialization and Theory

    In the final stage of training, you’ll have the option to specialize in a style of kung fu. For a full list of traditional styles that we teach, please refer to the following article:

During these three stages of training, you can also expect to learn basic health maintenance, qigong, Chinese culture and Lion Dance.
