Tai Chi / Qigong: Health and Wellness Program

Our newly structured health and wellness program breaks down the Tai Chi / Qigong material into three separate semesters during the year:

  1. Basics of meditation and qigong for Tai Chi

    To start, you will learn meditation and qigong - equivalent to recharging your internal battery so that you have a constant reserve of qi energy to draw from for health. This will not only enhance your Tai Chi practice but positively impacting all styles of kung fu.

  2. Introductory Tai Chi form

    During this semester, you will learn an introductory Tai Chi form that covers all the fundamental movements of Tai Chi. This short and concise form is designed for beginners, focusing on precision and control while leaving out some of the more difficult and highly technical movements. The physical movements addresses your physical wellbeing with respects to range of motion, balance and coordination - everything you need as you age.

  3. Activation of meridians for Health and Strength

    In the final semester, you’ll learn exercises that will keep your meridian channels optimized for qi energy flow. This is essential to ensure proper energy flow throughout the body including all vital organs - heart, lungs, spleen, liver and kidneys.
