Dragon Style
(Long Xing Quan, Lung Ying Kuen)
Lam Yu Gwai of Guangdong is said to have founded Dragon Fist. Taught by a Shaolin monk, Lam reached a high level of proficiency at a very young age. He later incorporated more theories and techniques into what became Dragon Style kung fu. Dragon Style is popular in Southern China, and is often used by law enforcement officers because of its effective locking techniques. It is a high stance, short range striking approach.
